Waterloo

hole1waterlooWaterloo is a very challenging par 54 course. Most of the course has been etched out of dense brambles, briers, and other thick underbrush below a canopy of large douglas fir and maple trees.

The course fairways are very well defined and play tight. If you get off the fairway, you are in trouble, stay on the fairway, and the course will treat you well. Elevation comes into play on a few holes and is used very well to compliment the fairways.

Directions:

Take exit 233 from Albany and head East on Santiam Hwy/US-20. Follow US-20 for 17.6 miles and turn left on Waterloo Rd. After 1 mile you will come to Waterloo County Park. Turn sharp right into the park and follow the park road for a couple hundred yards. On your right there will be a fenced dog park. Hole one starts about 100 yards past that on the right of the road.
